In conclusion, we can say that glacial landscapes are complex, involving many different processes and many different landforms.

However, we can also recognise that glacial landscapes, like landscapes of other types, are controlled by basic geomorphic processes of sediment production and transfer. 

Furthermore, like other phenomena in physical geography, we have seen that glaciers and glacial landscapes are best studied not in isolation but as part of a bigger environmental picture...
