The General

We got The General in 2009. She was six months old, and had been looked after by the Cats' Protection League before we adopted her. In December 2013 The General was diagnosed with severe kidney problems, and based on her blood tests she was given no more than 6 months to live. Debbie worked miracles sourcing food that The General could eat, and medicines that would help her to process the foods, and although vets continued year after year to say that The General's blood figures were so poor that she should be dying imminently, she continued to live a full, active happy life. Finally in the summer of 2020 she started to decline seriously, and we had to put her to sleep in August 2020.
