Number 8: Who will take my dreams away?

The video I originally had here included the song and the knife-throwing scene, but that has been taken off You Tube for copyright reasons, so this is all we have left. This page should be called "found, then lost again"

Who Will Take My Dreams Away ?

I can’t give you all my dreams
All the life I live.
You and I know what friendship means,
That’s all we got to give.

Who will take your dreams away
Takes your soul another day.
What can never be lost is gone,
It’s stolen in a way.

Please, don’t stand too close to me,
Can you hear my heart ?
Take my woe and lean on me
When we’re not apart.

Now our mission is complete
And our friends are hid.
Evil things brought down by the light,
Life goes on until the end.

"Who will take my dreams away?" is sung by Marianne Faithfull on the soundtrack to the film "La Fille sur le Pont" (The Girl on the Bridge) (1999) , which features Daniel Auteuil and Vanessa Paradis. The song was originally featured on the soundtrack of "The City of Lost Children" (1995). It was written by Angelo Badalamenti and Marianne Faithfull.
